Lillian A. Hayden

Lillian A. Hayden, age 89, of Pass Christian, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Biloxi. She was born in Brownsville, Texas and was a longtime resident of Pass Christian. Mrs. Hayden was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and Daughters of the King. She was a former member of Pass Christian Yacht Club, was very active in Mardi Gras and was an accomplished artist in painting. She was a graduate of Pass Christian High School, Perkinston Junior College and University of Southern Mississippi. She retired from teaching at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. J.J. Hayden, Jr. She is survived by a daughter Dr. Susie Hayden and her husband, Dr. William Cruse of San Antonio, TX; two sons, Dr. J. J. Hayden, III and his wife, Dr. Lois Upham of Atlanta, GA, Glover R. Hayden and his wife, Lynn of Biloxi; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private.
