Lillian Marie Elliot Brunow, 77, of Biloxi passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, February 15, 2013 in Biloxi.
Mrs. Brunow was a resident of Biloxi since 1959. She was a certified nurse’s assistant and a homemaker. Lillian loved life and enjoyed her music and friends and she never met a stranger. Lillian was a great wife, mother and grandmother. She was greatly loved by her family and will be sadly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lyle Elliot and Alice Davidson; her nephew, P.F.C. William Elliot; her son-in-law, Donovan Baker; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Peschko, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Thomas A. Brunow; her daughter, Tracy (Daniel) Finerman; her sons, Thomas H. (Sandy) Brunow and Steven E. (Ellen) Brunow; her sisters, Evelyn Peschko, Christine (Arthur) Chickneas and Catherine Cade; her brother, Bruce (Cathryn) Elliot; her grandchildren, Lisa Baker and Sean Baker and five other grandchildren; her five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to The Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 with funeral services on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
