Lillian "Teta" Kostmayer

Lillian “Teta” Kostmayer, age 77, gained her wings on June 2^nd 2022.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert Kostmayer; and brothers Bobby Robinson and Ronnie Robinson

She is survived by her two children, Shaun Kostmayer and Daphine Wells; her grandchildren, Nathan Kostmayer (Dana), Amber Kostmayer, and Matthew Kostmayer (Aurora); her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Miley, and Riley; sibling, Robby Robinson (Patty); nieces and nephews, Brandy and Bubba; and her numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Teta was an amazing wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Born in Gulfport, MS, she lived on the gulf coast the majority of her life and settled in Biloxi, MS. She married her teenage sweetheart and started a beautiful family. The things she cherished most in life were her powerful faith in God, children, grandchildren, and family. Teta had an incredible heart filled with passion and love. She was always attentive to her family by providing unconditional love.

Lillian attended beauty college in the early 70s and graduated from Chris’s Beauty College to become a licensed cosmetologist. She always had a strong passion for hairdressing and took great pride in designing her client’s hair. Along with her other passions she loved to go fishing and could fish all day long when in good company. In addition to her family devotion, she had a deep connection with God and lived a Christian life. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:1-3

A visitation will be held at 11:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 2090 Pass Rd. Biloxi, MS. A military service will be held at 1:30 pm by the V.A., located at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531.
