Lillian Parker Upchurch

Mrs. Ruth Johnson Wilkinson, 87, of Diamondhead, MS, died Thursday, August 24, 2006 in Diamondhead. Mrs. Wilkinson was a native of Georgia and lifelong resident of Dade City, FL, she has resided on the Coast the past eight years. She was a beautician and of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her husband John T. Wilkinson, Sr., her parents Gordon and Myra Johnson. Surviviors include two sons, Roy Burgess of Brooksville, FL and Pete Wilkinson and wife Sandy of Biloxi, MS. Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 5:00 pm Saturday August 26, 2006 at the Howard Ave Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Howard Ave Chapel will be handling all the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 733 3rd Ave, New York, New York 10017.
