Lillie R. Marsh

 Ms. Lillie R. Marsh, aged 74, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. & Ann A. Marsh; and her sister Mrs. Audrey Kent. 

Lillie is survived by her sister, Mrs. Mabel Marsh Abrasley and her husband Bob of Sparks, NV; her daughters, Jennifer Hendrickson of Ocean Springs, MS and Mrs. Renee B. Duda and her husband Allan of Vancleave, MS; her grandchildren, Lee Duda and Virginia Duda; former husbands James Borden of Phoenix, AZ and Ron Hendrickson, of Ocean Springs, MS; her dog Booger and cockatiel Tofu; and an extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lillie lived on the Gulf Coast since the late 1960's, she graduated from Biloxi High School and retired after 28 years at Keesler Army and Air Force Exchange Service. In addition, she was a decades long member (Bailey Rose) of local chapters of Society for Creative Anachronism. Before her recent illness, she was a unique and varied multimedia artist, skilled in sewing, acrylic painting, crochet, ceramics, holiday ornaments, beaded novelties, jewelry and fanciful home decor. She frequently enjoyed the Gulf Coast outdoors through amateur gardening, Mardi Gras gatherings, boating and fishing.
