Linda Ruth Bond of Biloxi and later Vancleave passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Born in Biloxi, Linda attended Biloxi High, while working summers and weekends as mate on her father’s charter boat, the Belvedere. Louis went to work at Ingalls and they later moved to Vancleave, where Linda retired from fishing. One of her cherished experiences was a trip to Hawaii with her husband, where she caught a billfish and made many friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Capt. H. L. and Doris Ruth McQueen and her brothers, Butch and Grady McQueen.
She is survived by her husband, Louis David Bond; her daughter, Capt. Michelle Ruth Bond and her grandchildren, Marina Ruth and Salinity Ruth.
