Linda C. Peterson

Linda C. Peterson, age 55, of D'iberville, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in D'Iberville. She was a resident of the Gulf Coast for over 33 years and was a memberof Rodenburg Avenue Church of Christ. She volunteered her time and efforts to her community and her church and was devoted to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden "Pete" Peterson, Jr.; her parents, George G. and Elizabeth Gardner; and a brother, George A. Gardner. She is survived by a daughter, Tonya Smith of Ocean Springs; two sons, Alden "Allie" Peterson, III, and Walter Preston Peterson both of Biloxi; two sisters, Della M. Rhodes of Southaven, and Barbara J. Holland of Columbia ; two brothers, David L. Gardner of Ohio and Ron Gardner of Saucier; and four grandchildren, Alden "A.J." Peterson, IV, Robert Kelton Peterson, Austin Patrick Peterson, and Amber Cheyene Souza; and a great-grandchild, Alexis Brooke. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport.
