Linda Coakley

Linda Lee Coakley, 73, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

She was born on July 4, 1950 in Bluffton, OH to Howard and June Anderson. She attended Liberty Benton High School. She was employed as a unit clerk for hospitals and doctor offices. She loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and singing country music. She enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren, watching Elvis Presley movies, and listening to old country music. Her favorites were Ricky Nelson and Elvis Presley.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and June Anderson.

She is survived by her husband, Howard E. Coakley; child, Amber L. Coakley Haygood; grandchildren, Lillian Grace Haygood, Nathaniel Terrell Howard Haygood, and Makensie Faith Inez Haygood; siblings, Parley (Bev) Anderson and Randy (Laurie) Anderson; and her beloved cats.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Linda’s memory be made to The Gideon International Gautier/Vancleave Camp, P.O. Box 5722, Vancleave, MS 39565.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Vancleave. For anyone that would like to attend, the visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:00am.
