Linda Kay Davis Armes, 62, of Saucier, MS, passed away Monday, March 13, 2006 in Saucier. Kay will be remembered for her great personality, loving smile, and the twinkle in her eyes. Her nickname was Sunshine. She was a member of Saucier Church of Christ. She worked for many years as a legal secretary with several local attorneys including Jess Dickinson, Supreme Court Justice, and Judge Roger Clark. Kay was a member of Eastern Star, Perkinston Chapter 376.
Kay was preceded in death by her father Loyd A. James and her mother Helen Irene James Johnson.
Survivors include her husband Donald Armes, Sr.; her brother, Larry James and sister, Loy A. Abshier; her son James Kenneth Davis and his wife, Cara; her daughters Denise Hopkins and her husband, Kavin, Judy Cross and her husband, Buddy; stepdaughter Jody Barnhill and her husband L.D.; stepson Donnie Armes, Jr. and his wife, Cindy; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 until 8 P.M., Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road. The funeral service will be at 9 A.M., Friday, March 17, 2006 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, TX. Many thanks to Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Hospice for their care and help.
