Linda Lee Vance Farris

Linda Lee Vance Farris, 55, of Ocean Springs, died on Thursday, December 15, 2011. Linda lit up the room with laughter and always had an open door policy for anyone, friends, family and neighbors. Her marriage to “Bud” was number one in her life. Her grandchildren were her Joy. Gardening was her stress relief. She worked as a waitress for 30 years. She was a people person; she never met a person she didn’t like and always found good in everyone. She was very hardworking and had abundant love for her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy Lee Vance Sr.; two sisters, Ruth Ann Vance, Charlotte Riley and a granddaughter, Skylar Raine Farris. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Thomas “Bud” Farris of Ocean Springs; a daughter, April (Paul) Marie Barnett of Pearl, MS; two sons, Thomas Steve (Rockey) Farris of Brandon, MS, Calvin (Angie) Farris of Richland, MS; her mother, Ethel Jean Vance; a sister Virginia (Kerry) Brink; two brothers, David (Maureen) Vance, Tommy Lee (Sharon) Vance all of Ocean Springs; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral Services will be on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Homes, where friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
