Linda Dold Robinson, age 78, passed away on October 15, 2013 in Ocean Springs where she had resided for many years. Linda was born August 11, 1935 to Lunsford L. and Ruth Dold Robinson in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She spent her growing up years between New Jersey and Buena Vista, Virginia with her family. Linda had one sibling, her brother Charles L. Robinson, and his wife Venessa, by whom she is survived along with two nieces Michelle Robinson Shaw, Valessa L. Robinson and one great niece, Elleah Taylor Shaw and a few distant cousins. Linda was a loving sister, an active member of her community and enjoyed her professional years in nursing during which time she was able to “give back” to others.

Throughout her professional years, Linda was an acting Geriatric consultant to schools of nursing, universities, colleges, Veterans Administration, Long-Term Care/Rehab facilities etc. She completed volumes of research, did grant writing and authored/co-authored much literature related to Anti-Aging/Geriatrics.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 with a memorial service at 1:00p.m at First Presbyterian Church Ocean Springs, located at 921 Ocean Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564 - Phone: 228-875-5326. Bradford O-Keefe in Ocean Springs assisted the family with at-need arrangements. Rev. Scott Castleman and his staff assisted the family with all else.
