Lionel "Nellie" E. Creel, Sr. 90 of Biloxi died Monday, March 3, 2008 in Gulfport.
Lionel was the owner of Fisherman's Hangout, Back Bay, Biloxi. He was a "Sports Future Analyst" and a fisherman. Lionel was a member of Knights of Columbus with St. John's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Oliver Creel, daughter Sandra Ann Creel, son, Baby Boy Creel, his parents, Roland J. Creel, Sr. and Helen Creel, a sister, Alvera Lawrence, brother, Junius Creel, Sr.
Lionel is survived by Brenda Darnell Jones and Butch of Johnstown, PA, Sherry Carothers of D'Iberville, Penny Zapata and the late Joe Zapata, Candy Singleterry, Steve Singleterry all of Biloxi, Lionel E. Creel, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Ocean Springs, Mark Creel of Biloxi. Survivors also include 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, a brother, Roland J. Creel, Jr. and many friends and other family members.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will be in the Biloxi City Cemetery.
