Lionel "Pete" Tillman, Sr.

Mr. Lionel "Pete" Tillman, Sr., age 67, of St. Martin, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in St. Martin. Mr. Tillman was a lifelong resident of the community and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville. He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Tillman and Jinnie Alves Tillman, a daughter, Cathy Tillman Jenkins, and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Tillman of St. Martin, two daughters, Beth (Ken) Merrick of Biloxi, MS., and Rhonda (Steve) Eick of Ellisville, MS., two sons, Lionel "Pete" Tillman, Jr., of Biloxi, MS., and Major Darren (Justina) Tillman of Alexandria, VA., one brother, Frank Tillman of D'Iberville, MS., nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. On Tuesday, March 15, 2005, there will be a 10 AM Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd., D'Iberville, MS. 39540. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
