Lisa Garner Boone, age 61, of Gulfport, MS died Saturday, March 18, 2023 following a fierce battle with breast cancer.
She was born in New Orleans, LA on September 11, 1961 to parents B.J. “Jack” Garner and Carrie Dillard Garner. Lisa grew up in Gulfport with her sister, Debbie Ward, and was a graduate of USM with a degree in accounting.
Lisa married Raymond Boone June 30, 1984 and had four children, Jackson, Jessica, Jordan and Jacob.
She loved British murder/mystery drama shows, black and white films and trips to Disney World with her children. She was a talented singer, piano player and quilt maker.
Lisa is survived by children, Jessica Boone, Jordan Baker and Jacob Boone as well as her sister, Debbie Ward and brother-in-law, Bill Ward.
She leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren, Chloe Brown, Piper Brown and Anna Broadus, who gave her much joy and comfort in these final months. She now joins her husband and oldest son in the Kingdom of Heaven. May she rest forever in peace.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the O’Neal Road Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, Gulfport, followed by a service at 2:00 p.m.
