L.J. Rogers

L.J. Rogers, age 86, of Theodore, AL passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022.

L.J. was born in Gulfport, where he lived most of his life, until moving to Mobile about 11 years ago. He was a lifelong member of First Free Church of God in Gulfport, MS.

L.J. was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Ellis and Ruby Dobson Rogers and brothers, Kenneth Rogers and Lester Ray Rogers.

He is survived by his sons, Louis C. Rogers of Gulfport, MS and John C. Rogers (Robbie) of Mobile, AL; sisters, Hilda Ladner of Gulfport, MS, Virginia Dale Robinson of TN, and Donna Kaye Hutchinson of Moss Point, MS; and 4 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, MS. Friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach, MS. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Rogers family.
