Lloyd Wallace

Lloyd Leon Wallace, age 81, resident of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Friday, February 10, 2012. Lloyd was a member of Wood Haven Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnan War. He was also an electronics instructor at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi for 18 years. He dedicated 24 years helping keep our nation safe. After retiring from the Air Force, he became a local business owner serving the community of Ocean Springs. Lloyd is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Thelma Ernestine Wallace and one son, Leon Lloyd Wallace II. He is survived by his sons, MSG Donis Ray Wallace of Hattisburg, MS, Terry Troy Wallace of D'Iberville, MS , 14 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Johnson and Rev. Larry Tapp officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre, AL.
