Lois Imogene Carver

Lois Imogene Carver, 91, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Ms. Carver was born to the late Russell and Leona Carver. She was a graduate of Ocean Springs High School. Among other passions, she cherished her lifelong membership to Ocean Springs First Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. There were many livelihoods she enjoyed, including horseback riding, tennis, swimming, softball, gardening, motorcycling, and most faithfully of all, teaching the Lord’s word. Ms. Carver is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Leona Carver; and siblings, Kenneth, Catherine, Winifred, and Peggy. Left to honor her memory are a host of nieces and nephews, Jack (Cathy), Jeff (Cindy), Jill (Alex), Russell Mathidas, and many more. Her great-nieces include Heather, Natalie, Olivia, and Emily. Her great-great-nephews include Jaks and Gavin. She also cherished companionship of the many pets she had cared for over the years. Ms. Carver’s family would like to extend their gratitude to her family and friends at Lemoyne Place in Ocean Springs, MS.
