Mrs. Lois Davis, 80, of Ocean Springs, MS, Passed this life Saturday, September 13, 2008, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, after a long exhaustive battle with cancer. She will be with those who have gone before her: parents, Willie J. and Olive Moe Miller, husband, Earl Davis and Great-granddaughter, Blayne Makinlee Davis. She has left a large void in the lives of those left behind. Survivors are one daughter, Marie Davis; one son and his wife, Billy and Dianne Davis; one granddaughter and husband, Dawn and Kenneth Varney; one grandson and wife, Chad and Melissa Davis; one great-grandson, Chandler Varney; one sister and her husband, Glenda and Clyde Williard; three brothers and their wives, Henry and Melba Miller, Jack and Norma Miller, and Gary and Shirley Miller; numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was born October 8, 1927 in Biloxi and lived her entire life on the Gulf Coast. She was a longtime member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved working in her church and her greatest joy was caring for others, especially children. She will always be remembered, always loved, and always missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
