Lois Viola Gulck

Lois Viola Gulck “Punkie”, age 89, of Saucier, MS passed away peacefully at home with her daughter present. 

She was born on November 24, 1934 in South Dakota to Bertice and Eunice Creamer.  Lois attended Pierre High School and South Dakota State College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics.  In her earlier years she was a homemaker, wife and mother.  In her late 70’s, she was the member of the month every month at her local gym.  She worked as a home economics instructor and a professional seamstress that specialized custom clothing, men’s suits and draperies.  She loved to sew and work out at the gym.  She was never afraid of hard work and looked forward to serving her friends, family and community.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Bertice and Eunice Creamer; her husband, Kenneth Donald Gulck; her son, Steven Ancil Gulck and a sister, Ferne Marie Floyd.

She is survived by her daughter Renee’ Ann Baxter and her husband Mark Baxter; six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Services will be held in South Dakota at a later date.
