Lois Juanita Peleaz

Lois Juanita Peleaz, 79, of Gulfport, died Sunday August 28, 2011 in Gulfport. A lifelong resident of the Coast, Juanita had a long career in retail sales. When not working, she devoted most of her time caring for all of her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her and will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hugh Peleaz; a brother, Vernon Simmons; and her parents, Rinnie Simmons and Thelma Wade Simmons. Mrs. Peleaz is survived by a daughter, Lois (Jerry) Dees of Gulfport; three sons, William (Susan) Peleaz of Saucier, Richard James (Mary M.) Peleaz of Biloxi, Randy (Sarah Brewer) Peleaz of Gulfport; a sister, Donna (Andrew) Simmons Prince of Gulfport; five brothers, Ray Simmons, Harvey Simmons, Hebert (Marie) Simmons, Van Simmons, and Ralph (Pat) Simmons, all of Gulfport; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to United Methodist Committee of Relief, P.O.
