Mrs. Loise Rose Reynolds Jacquet, 83, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Friday, May 13, 2011, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Jacquet was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. She and her husband were the owners/operators of the Ocean Springs Marine Mart from 1976 until 1991. She was a life member of the V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary in Ocean Springs, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 1992, a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Biloxi Elks Lodge 606, and Magnolia Lodge Order of the Easter Star.
Mrs. Jacquet was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Gladys Reynolds; a son, Edwin Kurt Jacquet, Sr., her sister, Julia Wood; two granddaughters, Rose and Tina Holliman; and aunt and uncle, Faye and Alfred Carlin.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edwin John Jacquet, Jr.; three daughters, Lois Jacquet (Harry) Kostmayer, Carolyn Jacquet (Tom) Holliman, and Gloria Jacquet (Ronnie, Sr.) Kostmayer; ten grandchildren, Cheryl (George) Terry, Cherie Broome, Harry (Cara) Kostmayer, Kevin (April) Kostmayer, Heather (Jacques) Gasquet, Heidi (Craig) Terrell, Kurt Jacquet, Hope Jacquet, Misty (Jon) Marshall, Stephanie (Tim) Anderson; and sixteen great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 5 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
