Mrs. Lola Cummins Viator, 80, of Panama City, FL died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in Panama City, FL.
Mrs. Viator was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi and retired from McCrory's Department Store after 25 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where she was a member of the choir. She was a church volunteer with the Bazaars. Mrs. Viator loved dancing and music. She was a member of Mississippi Gulf Coast Jazz Society and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Institute of Learning and Research.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Viator, Sr., parents, Charles and Hazel Cummins, sister, Dortha Whatley, brothers, Charles and Clyde Cummins, daughter, Mary Ann Cooper, son, Harry J. Viator, Jr.
Survivors include daughters, Nancy Berdanier and her husband Robert, Earldean Drew and her husband Charles and Barbara Hanson and her husband Peter, sons, Michael Viator (Ahling Able), Richard Viator (Fran LaFrance), Roy Viator and his wife Lincy, David Howell and his wife Karen, sister Geraldine Frentz, brother, George Cummins and his wife Arlene. Survivors also include 27 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 18, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. where friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
