Lonnie Hopkins

Mr. Lonnie Hopkins, age 67, of Gautier, MS, died Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mr. Hopkins was a lifelong resident of the coast, and was a long standing member of the Steamfitters and Pipefitters Local 436 in Pascagoula, MS, and also the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 568 in Gulfport, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh and Irene Hopkins, one daughter, Lisa Carol Hopkins, one brother, Harold Hopkins, and two sisters, Christine Thomas and Mildred Isias. Survivors include his wife, Delores Hopkins of Gautier, one daughter, Angelia Turberville (David) of Gautier, one son, Lonnie M. Hopkins (Tina) of D'Iberville, one sister, Joyce "Joe" Johnston (Kevin) of Picayune, MS, one brother, Lester Hopkins (Avaline) of Huntsville, Al. four grandchildren, Brandy Johnson, Kimberly Clayton, Brad Clayton, and Jason Hopkins, one great-grandchild, Dixie Gollotte, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 4:00 pm at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until service time. A private burial will be held at a later date.
