Lora Hilton

Mrs. Lora Hilton, longtime resident of Gautier, MS., passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009, in Gulfport, MS., at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Audrey Thames, sister, Helen Jo Hedgebeth, and husband, David Hilton. A much-beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she is survived by three children, Carol (Tommy) Bennett and Dana Nelson, both of Vancleave, MS., and Van (Jackie) Nelson of Lexington, MS., two brothers, Wilford (Sue) Thames of North Carolina and Larry (Connie) Thames of Brandon, MS., two sisters, Billie Jean (Jimmy) Berry of Jackson, MS., and Judy (Pat) Alexander of Shubuta, MS., four grandchildren, Austin (Shannon) Bennett and Corey (Olivia) Bennett, all of Vancleave, MS., and Jessica and Christopher Nelson of Lexington, MS., and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, September 4, 2009, from 3 PM until 4 PM, with a 4 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Vancleave #1 Cemetery.
