Lora Johnson

Lora "Midge" Taranto Johnson, 83, of Biloxi, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 in Biloxi. Lora was a native of Union, MS and a longtime resident of Biloxi. She was the former owner of Biloxi Produce Co. Lora was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas E. Taranto, second husband, Roger E. Johnson, son, Michael E. Taranto, parents, Nathan and Kate Taylor, brother, Wilbur Taylor and daughter-in-law, Dianne Taranto. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Toche Feister and her husband Larry, son, R. Wayne Taranto, sisters, Louva Butts and Loethra Morris, two grandchildren, Natalie A. Taranto, Christina D. Kostelak, one great-granddaughter, Cameron Leigh Kostelak, and many beloved nieces, nephews and family. In lieu of flowers family prefers memorials to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, ATTN: Memorial/Honor Program FH, One St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN 38148-0552. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 3, 2008, 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Interment is in Biloxi National Cemetery.
