Lorena Pfaff

Mrs. Lorena Woolsey Pfaff, age 81, of Mobile, AL., died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, in Vancleave, MS. Mrs. Pfaff was the daughter of Jere and Hortense Woolsey. She was a graduate of the Convent of Mercy in Mobile, AL., and for many years served as the head bookkeeper for Brookley Field Credit Union. She was a longtime resident of Cathedral Place and a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, serving as a lector and eucharistic minister. Upon moving to Vancleave she became a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Mrs. Pfaff was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, her parents, and a brother, Jody Woolsey. Survivors include her two sons, Steve Quinn of Orange Beach, AL. and Allan Quinn of Vancleave, MS. a brother, Jere Woolsey, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. On Thursday, June 21, 2007, there will be a 10 AM Memorial Mass celebrated in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, Attn: Memorial/Honor Program FH, One St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN. 38148-0552. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
