Loretta Nummy Jackson, 82, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015. She was born in Prattville, AL and has been a resident of Biloxi since 1972. She worked at Keesler Air Force Base as a seamstress and retired from Civil Service in 1981. Her passion was floral design and she worked for numerous florists over the years in Biloxi and in Montgomery, AL. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Jackson; her parents; two sisters; one brother and grandson, Christian Martin Harris.
Loretta is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Charles) Harris and Rita (Bruce) Gray; sons, Larry Ray (Jackie) Martin, Gary (Nancy) Martin and Gregory (Cathy) Martin; sisters, Jean Gibbons and Peggy Driver; brothers, James Hugh (Gracie) Nummy) and Bobby (Joan) Nummy; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior to service. Burial at Biloxi National Cemetery.
