Loretta Letort

Mrs. Loretta Crawford Letort, 100, of Poplarville, MS, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Poplarville. Mrs. Letort was born in Biloxi. She remained a resident of the Biloxi / St. Martin area 92 years and had been a resident of Poplarville for the past 9 years with her son and his family.. She worked for the St. Martin School district in the cafeteria. Mrs. Letort was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Letort, Sr.; son, Jerald Letort; and a sister, Emma C. Monk. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Sheila B. Letort; Son, Henry E. Letort, Jr. of Poplarville; and two grandchildren, Brook and Blair Letort of Poplarville. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Bosarge Cemeery.
