Lorraine Bishop Cripps

Lorraine Bishop Cripps, age 89, passed away on Thursday, September 22,2022, at The Claiborne at Gulfport Highlands.

Ms. Cripps was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was a graduate of Durant High School. She actively worked most of her life as a customer service representative in the finance industry. She was an active member of Fernwood Baptist Church in Gulfport. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all that knew her. She enjoyed exercising, reading, daily worship, and watching a good movie. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ms. Cripps is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bessie Bishop; husband, Kenneth Cripps, Jr; and by her siblings, John Bishop, Delma Bishop, Levi Bishop, and Leroy Bishop.

Survivors include her son Ricky Cripps and his wife Teresa Cripps; son John Cripps and his wife Jana Cripps; grandchildren, John, Kenny, Justin, Nathaniel, Dixie, Patrick, and Robert; by her great-grandchildren, John, Caleb, Ethan, Caitlyn, Kenny II, Josey, Elizabeth, Hunter, Robert, and Jesse; and her siblings, Ann Edwards, Eugene Bishop, and Louise Owens.

Visitation and services will be held at Bradford O’ Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road in Biloxi, on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden in Gulfport, MS.
