Lou Ann Cook, age 68, passed away on May 5, 2024, in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was born February 1, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, to Michael and Lucille Spatola.
On June 15, 1974, Lou Ann married Charles Cook in Fort Worth, Texas. She spent most of her years as a resident of Washington State. Lou Ann was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Lucille Spatola; her brother, John Spatola; and her daughter, Kristi Cook. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Cook; son, Michael Cook; daughter-in-law, Aymee Cook; 7 grandchildren, Brittany McMahon, Amberly Mcvay-Cook, Tanner Simpkins, Ryann McCormack, Damien Cook, Justyn Newberry, and Ethan Newberry; 1 great-grandchild, Carson McMahon; her sister, Angela Clark; her brother in law, Mac Clark; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior.
