Louie DeLeon Eddings

Louie DeLeon Eddings, 84, of Lucedale, MS passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Louie was born July 5, 1938 in Tampa, FL to Homer DeLeon and Ruby Rae Eddings.

Louie went to school through 11^th grade before beginning work. Over the years, he worked as a roofer and a block maker. Later, he also worked for Coca Cola. Louie was a member of the United States Coast Guard. In his free time, he enjoyed football, baseball, country, family and God. He showed his devotion to God by attending Beulah Church for many years.

Louie is preceded in death by his parents, Homer DeLeon and Ruby Rae Eddings; wife, Lorine Eddings; stepfather, Jesse; son, Steven Wade Eddings; and siblings, Joyce, Cathy, Mary, and Matt.

Survivors include his stepmother, Jessie Mae; children, Michael Eddings, Eric Eddings, Jason Eddings, and Darren Eddings; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who he loved dearly; and siblings, Robert, Dennis, Jesse, Chris, Mark, and Donna.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Beulah Cemetery in Vancleave, MS. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Louie DeLeon Eddings.
