Louis Wayne Rapp

Louis Wayne Rapp, age 65, of Long Beach, died Monday, December 17, 2007 in Gulfport. Sixty-five years ago a wonderful father, husband, and friend entered this world. On the day of December 17, 2007 God called him home. Our hearts will never beat the same. At his side was his life long love, Gloria Cryer Rapp. Louis led an extordinary life and with each person's life he touched he left a lasting impression. He was a man you would never forget from his smile down to his attitude and he will be forever missed. In his life he accomplished many tasks and was a fearless and determined man. He retired from Local Union # 58 Iron Workers after 45 years of service. He was employed with Dolac Electric for the last year of his life. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Robin Smith Rapp; and his son-in-law Jessie Orlando Dedeaux. Louis is survived by his wife, Gloria Cryer Rapp of Long Beach; two daughters, Crystal Rapp Kennedy (Clarence), Michelle Rapp Moran of TN; three sons, Robert Rapp of Chalmette, LA, Louis Rapp of Slidell, LA, Jeffery Rapp of Kenner, LA; a sister, Carol Fruge; fifteen grandchildren, Robert Christopher Rapp, Ryan Rapp, Kristy Cagelosi, Kristian Cagelosi, Blain Moran, Amber Rapp, Mallery Rapp, Kimberly Rapp, Ariel Rapp, Jazzlynn Rapp, Trey Powell, Jeffery Rapp, Anastasia Kennedy, Serenity Kennedy, Athuris Kennedy, and Aonesty Dedeaux; two great-grandchildren, Angele Rapp and Isabella Goyer; and a niece, Jody Anglodo. Father Louie Lohan will officate at the service on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport.
