Louise Smith Griffin

Mrs. Louise Griffin, age 92 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in Ocean Springs, MS.

Mrs. Griffin was born on July 4, 1930 in Panama City, FL to the late Marion Joseph Smith and Mamie Elizabeth Jones. During her spare-time, she enjoyed working on puzzle books and visits from family.

Mrs. Griffin is preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Billy Joe Griffin; children, Ernest K. Griffin and Marlene Troney; and by her siblings, Ernest Smith, Marion Junior Smith, Lula Mae Smith, Willie Lee McQuagge, and Eppenee “Dean” Busby.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Joel Griffin and Cassandra (Scott) Creech; grandchildren, Brian (Loren) Gerych, Chrystal Gary, Mickey (Jennifer) Creech and Haley Griffin; and by her great-grandchildren, Hilton, Anniston, Jayden, Hudson, Ellie, Macy and Natalie.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Truwood (The Gardens) and Enhabit Home Health and Hospice for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
