Louise Martinez

Mrs. Louise Martinez, age 77, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Monday, February 11, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Martinez was a native of Greenville, MS., and a resident of the coast since 1953. She was a former member of Eastlawn Baptist Church in Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Parr and Josephine McGraw Parr, three sisters, Kay Haley, Ann Slater, and Myrtle Ann Travis, and a brother, Miller Parr. Survivors include two sons, David (Agnes) White of Milton, FL., and Darrell Taranto of Ocean Springs, a sister, Lee Flint of Gautier, MS., brother, Wallace (Celeste) Parr of Yazoo City, MS., five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, February 15, 2008, from 6-7 PM, with a 7 PM Memorial Service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
