Lucille Haise

Lucille Blacksher Haise, (Granny) 91, of Biloxi MS, died Wenesday, June 1, 2005 in Biloxi. Mrs. Haise was a native of Biloxi. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Mrs. Haise was once employed with Biloxi Freezing Company, Gayfers, Jays Fabrics, and the Biloxi Public School System as a cafeteria worker. She was named the Biloxi Lions Club Mother of the Year in 1970. Mrs. Haise was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Fred W. Haise Sr., Mrs. Haise is survived by her son , Fred W. Haise Jr. and his wife Patt of Beach City, TX.; two daughters, Brenda Johnston and her husband Billy of Biloxi, Eydie Burnett and her husband Michael of Cherry hill, NJ; one sister Natalie Dunn and her husband Walton of Tupelo, MS., 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her love for her family will be forever felt. Visitation will be from 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m. at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral with mass of Christian Burial at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2005. Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to the Biloxi Library.
