Lucille Hurlbert Becker

Mrs. Lucille Marie Hurlburt Becker, 78, of D'Iberville, MS, died Wednesday, March 29, 2009, after a series of illnesses, in Gulfport. Mrs. Becker was a native of Biloxi and lived in the New Orleans area for nearly 44 years. She returned to Biloxi in 1990 and resettled in D'Iberville where she spent her final years. She was a wife, mother and registered nurse. Mrs. Becker was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Etta Dean Salkowski, and her husband of 35 years, George Becker of Marrero, LA. She is survived by her children, George Adam Becker, Peter David Becker, and Doneva Becker Alello; sisters, Gloria Freche, Kathleen Casper, and Eva Howell; brother, Adam Salkowski; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 4, 2009, at 9 a.m. at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
