Mrs. Lucille Mallery, age 91, of Biloxi, MS., passed away, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, December 24, 2009.
She was born in Taylorsville, MS. and had been a resident of Biloxi for the past 55 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Gulfport and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Gulfport and in the Scrap Iron Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Mallery was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A. Mallery, her parents and seven siblings.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Gilbert and husband, Jimmy, son, Paul Mallery and wife, Belinda, two sisters, Merle Murray and Mary Meininger, two grandchildren, Mallery Mayo and husband, T.C., and Priscilla France and husband, Joe, and three great-grandchildren, Margaret France, Candler Mayo and Lucy France.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from 10 AM - 11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
