Lucille Triplett Starling

Lucille Triplett Starling, 94, of Covington,La, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 in Covington. She was born in Noxapater and was a former longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Gulfport. Mrs. Starling was a retired long distance operator at South Central Bell and a PBX operator at Broadwater Beach Hotel and was associated with Lucy's Pocket in downtown Bay St. Louis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Carl Starling. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Gibbs and two sons, James M. Land and William C. Starling, all of Mandeville, La; and a grandson, Derick Land of Charlotte, NC. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Noxapater, MS.
