Mrs. Lucille Toncrey Poulos, 84, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, David and Donnet Poulos, Sr.
Mrs. Poulos was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and well known for her card games and good cooking. She also enjoyed bingo. These were her favorite things.
Mrs. Poulos was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Poulos, Sr., and a son, Samuel Poulos. Survivors include four sons, John Poulos, Jr., and his wife, Joy, of Slidell, LA, Jimmy Poulos and his wife, Darleen, David Poulos, Sr., and his wife, Donnet, and Danny Poulos and his wife, Cindy, all of Biloxi; three daughters, Sheila Foster and her husband, Larry, Lucille "LuLu" Strayham and her husband, Andrew, Crystal Delano and her husband, Russell "R.B.", all of Biloxi; a brother, Henry Toncrey, Sr. of D'Iberville; eighteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
The family of Mrs. Poulos wishes to extend a special thanks to Diane Williams and her daughter, Jackie Williams, the nurses and caregivers, who took such good, loving care of their mother in time of her need.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 3 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may visit from 12 noon until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
The family and friends of Mrs. Poulos are invited to a reception following interment ceremonies at the home of David and Donnet Poulos.
