Lucretia Misko Skrmetta

Mrs. Lucretia Misko Skrmetta, 86, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, March 5, 2006, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Skrmetta was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She grew up on the "Point" and was a member of a seafood industry family. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. Mrs. Skrmetta was preceded in death by her husband, Peter V. "Troubles" Skrmetta, Sr., her parents, Peter and Katie Misko, and four brothers, Anthony, Nick, Joseph and Lawrence Misko. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda K. Skrmetta; one son, Peter V. Skrmetta, Jr. and his wife, Evelyn Creel Skrmetta; one sister, Francis Martin; two brothers, Peter D. Misko and Steve Misko; four grandsons, Mark A. Russo, Peter V. Skrmetta, III, Michael A. Russo and Matthew L. Skrmetta and five great grandchildren, Erin Russo, Luke Russo, Riley Russo, Ella Russo and Zachary Russo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
