Lucy Mae Walker

Lucy Mae "Green" Walker, age 72, of Biloxi, died Friday, August 3, 2012. Lucy was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was a waitress at Mary Mahoney's Restaurant for ten years and enjoyed playing bingo. Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Walker; and her parents, Glenn and Virginia Kirk. Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Woolery (Mike Rossick), of D'Iberville, MS; two sons, Terry Stanton, of Biloxi, MS and Carl Stanton (Rose), of Gulfport, MS; three sisters, Patricia Cornelison, of Frederick, CO, Phyllis Heistburg, of Pleasant Hill, MO and Donna Wilkerson, of North Little Rock, AR; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe in in charge of arrangements. in lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, MS, 228-863-4394.
