Luther Jarrell

Mr. Luther "Ken" Jarrell, age 66, of Vancleave, MS., died Sunday, March 27, 2005, in Gulfport. Mr. Jarrell was born in Crosby, MS., and retired from the U.S. Army. He also retired from civil service in the food service department. He was a member of the Fort Bayou Baptist Church in Vancleave. Mr. Jarrell was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Victoria Jarrell and a sister, Volita Hill. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Jarrell of Vancleave, two daughters, Michel Rushing of Vancleave and Karen Jarrell of Richmond, VA., and two grandchildren, Andrea Jarrell and C.J. Rushing, both of Vancleave. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 31, 2005, from 9-10 AM, at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. There will be an 11 AM graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery following the visitation. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the American Diabetic Association, #16 Northtown Drive, Suite #100, Jackson, MS., 39211.
