Mrs. Lydia M. Baum, 76, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Saturday, January 26, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Baum had been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1968. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she has served as Relief Society President, Seminary Teacher, Primary Teacher, as well as other positions with the church.
Mrs. Baum was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elsie Watson, sister, Ruth Wilkinson and brother, William Watson. Survivors include her daughter, Jeana Grover and her husband, Craig, of Hattiesburg, MS; son, Rodney Baum and his wife, Jori, of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Louise Swingle of Biloxi, Emily Jones of New Orleans, LA, Rhoda Thomas of Houston, TX, and Josephine Chamberlain of Memphis, TN; and grandchildren, Whitney, Nathan, Preston, Olivia and Hali Grover of Hattiesburg and Zachary and Seth Baum of Baton Rouge.
Visitation is Tuesday, January 29, 2008, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
