Lyra Jean' Mitchell

Baby Lyra Jean' Mitchell, infant daughter of Gilbert and Lydia Mitchell, went to be with our Lord on May 8, 2010. God called her name so softly, that only she could hear. And no one heard the footsteps of the angels drawing near. It broke our hearts to loose her, but she did not go alone. For part of us went with her the day God called her home. Put your arms around her Lord, touch her precious face. For she is someone special, who can never be replaced. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Russell and Ava Mitchell; maternal grandparents, Mickey and Jan Bishop and Lee Seymour, Jr. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Memorial Hospital, and a special thanks to Dr. Shahira Hanna. Visitation will be held Thursday May 13, 2010 at New Life Family Church, Popps Ferry Rd., Biloxi. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the service at 11:00 am. Interment following at Floral Hills Cemetery, Gulfport. The family prefers memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 2151, Memphis, TN 38101-2151.
