Mabel Lou Sibley Cole

Mabel Lou Sibley Cole,83, of Biloxi, MS passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her home.

Mabel was born January 21, 1940 in Wichita, KS to Joseph Richard Sibley and Bessie Lucinda Milam. She attended Derby High School in Derby, KS. Mabel owned several restaurants and served as a Hometown Ambassador in Biloxi through Coastal Partnership Ambassadors. She enjoyed volunteering and meeting new people everywhere she went. She loved crosswords, spoiling all of her grandkids, and she loved the Shuckers!

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Richard Sibley and Bessie Lucinda Milam; husband, John Lynn Cole; siblings, Joe Sibley, Jr. and Mark Stevens; and son, Jack A Rodgers, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Mary (and CL) Crawford, Debra (and Bert) Boatright, Vera (and Dennis) Marsh, and Robert (and April) Rodgers; siblings, Steve (and Cynthia) Stevens; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews

A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit at 9 am. Interment will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mabel’s name to the Coastal Partnership Ambassadors.
