Ms. Mable Ann Brown, 60, of Biloxi, died Saturday, August 5, 2006 in Gulfport, MS. Ms. Brown was born March 28, 1946 in Birmingham, Alabama to James Walter Cooper, Sr. and Lallage Gay, who preceded her in death. Ms. Brown is survived by her best friend and lifelong partner, Larry A. Loper of Biloxi, MS; a son, Raymond Brown of Destin, FL; a daughter, Linda Walker and her husband David of Gulfport, MS; four grandsons, Anthony Loper, Jullian Loper, Bradley Loper and Herbert Blaine Ross; four granddaughters, Savannah Nguyen, Mychala "Nana" Walker, Monaco Brown, and Monica Brown; two sisters, Jo Alexander of Warner Robbins, GA and Hellen Barnes of Biloxi, MS; and two brothers, Jim White of New Mexico and Al Barnes of Biloxi, MS. Ms. Brown was a dedicated and active member of Fernwood Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school class while spreading the word of the Lord. She also was a very talented and elegant ballroom dancer. Ms. Brown was a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother. Her passions in life were taking care of the elderly and others whom could not help themselves. She also enjoyed her fresh flowers. Services will be Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 2:00pm in Fernwood Baptist Church where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
