Mack Williams, 82, of Latimer, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Williams was born on March 29, 1927 in Walnut Grove, (Leake County) Mississippi to A.J. & Pearl Williams. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was the owner of Williams Air Conditioning in St. Martin. He was a faithful member of Lemoyne Baptist Church and a former Master of Masonic Lodge # 626 of Jackson. He will always be remembered for being a faithful husband, a loving father to his children, and having many friends. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, A.J. & Pearl Williams, his sister, Betty Wright, and brother, A.J. Williams, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bobbie Williams; two sons, Richard Earl (Robin) Williams, and Robert Mack Williams; his sister, Evelyn Service; six grandchildren, Christina Williams Woodall, Robert Williams, Jr., Joseph Williams, Richelle Williams, Samantha Brown, and Bubba Brown, and four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Woodall, Gavin Williams, Ella James Dodson, and Carly Fortier. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from the Ocean Springs chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rennick officiating. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lemoyne Baptist Church, 15005 Lemoyne Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39532.
