Mack Williams

Mack Williams, 82, of Latimer, died Saturday, May 9, 2009 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Williams was born on March 29, 1927 in Walnut Grove, (Leake County) Mississippi to A.J. & Pearl Williams. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was the owner of Williams Air Conditioning in St. Martin. He was a faithful member of Lemoyne Baptist Church and a former Master of Masonic Lodge # 626 of Jackson. He will always be remembered for being a faithful husband, a loving father to his children, and having many friends. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, A.J. & Pearl Williams, his sister, Betty Wright, and brother, A.J. Williams, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bobbie Williams; two sons, Richard Earl (Robin) Williams, and Robert Mack Williams; his sister, Evelyn Service; six grandchildren, Christina Williams Woodall, Robert Williams, Jr., Joseph Williams, Richelle Williams, Samantha Brown, and Bubba Brown, and four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Woodall, Gavin Williams, Ella James Dodson, and Carly Fortier. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from the Ocean Springs chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rennick officiating. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the funeral home.
