Madelyn Maumus Emile

Madelyn Maumus Emile, 82, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Biloxi. She was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. Madelyn was a lifelong member of St. John Parish. She graduated in 1951 from Sacred Heart Academy. She had a great sense of humor and a zest for life. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Emile. Madelyn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Toby Emile, Jr.; daughters, Sherry (Orin) Eleuterius and Louise (John) Leckich; son, Stanley (Cindy) Fournier; sisters, Bobbi Skrmetta and Sarah Randazzo; brother, Xavier (Kathy) Maumus; 4 grandchildren, Lillian Ray, Maggie Fournier, Orin Eleuterius, Jr. and Bonnie Eleuterius; 5 great-grandchildren, Stella Ray, Houston Ray, Eden Eleuterius, Emersyn Eleuterius and Hayes Eleuterius; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church. Family and friends may visit two hours prior. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
