Mr. Malcolm John Beaugez, Jr., 68, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Friday, November 5, 2010, in New Orleans, LA.
Mr. Beaugez was born in Biloxi and a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and served 8 years in the Mississippi National Guard. He was a self employed master carpenter and former harbor master for Ocean Springs. He owned Beaugez Soft Shell Crabs and was an avid fisherman.
Mr. Beaugez was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Madrid Beaugez, Sr. and a brother, Ray Beaugez. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Narleen Beaugez; two daughters, Rene (Kerry, Sr.) Fountain, and Cassandra (Curt) Fountain; two sons, Malcolm J. (Janet) Beaugez, III, and Michael "Todd" (Darlene) Beaugez; sister, Betty (Ron) Bennett; brother, Tommy (Gloria) Beaugez; eight grandchildren, Kerry, Jr., Lindsey, Kelsey, Kayley, Malcolm, IV, Nicole, Shelby, and Shane; three great grandchildren, Madeline, Addison and Hayden; and his loving dog, Marty.
A Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 1 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church were friends may visit from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Bellande Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs is in charge of arrangements.
