Mamie F. Weaver

Mrs. Mamie F. Weaver, 94, of Ocean Springs, MS died Saturday, June 18, 2005, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Weaver was a native of White Rose, Oklahoma and had been a longtime resident of Victoria, Texas before moving to the coast. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil A. Weaver; two sons, Leon and Ralph Weaver and her parents, Walter and Lue Visia Piercy Calhoun. Survivors include her daughters, Mae Slankard of Van Alstyne, Texas and Margaret Peterson of Ocean Springs; a son, Wayne Weaver of Owasso, OK; twelve grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a. m. Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home Chapel in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time. Entombment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. The family prefers memorials be made to the American Heart Association, Living Legacy Partnership, P O Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410.
